Matcha lemonade

Ingredients

Syrup

  • 2 (245) lemons
  • 3/4C (196g) sugar
  • 1/16 tsp salt

Matcha lemonade

  • 1 Tbsp (2g) matcha
  • 1.5 oz (40g) warm water
  • 1.5 oz (50g) syrup
  • 4 oz (114g) cold water
  • ice

Instructions

  • With a sharp knife slice the lemons into thin wheels. Discard the two ends.
  • In a wide bowl toss the lemons with sugar and salt until evenly coated.
  • Transfer to a glass or plastic container. the lemons to release some of the juice.
  • muddle two to three times in the day if possible. Cover with a lid and let sit at room temperature for a day until the sugar has dissolved.
  • when dissolved store in the refrigerator

matcha lemonade

  • In a wide bowl add the matcha and warm water and whisk until evenly combined.
  • in a glass add the cold water, syrup, matcha, and ice, and stir.
  • add a few lemon wheels is wanted
  • enjoy
