Homemade Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 12oz (350g) Milk
  • 1/3C (90g) Dark chocolate
  • 4 tsp (8g) cocoa powder
  • 1/4C (38g) brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg optional
  • 1/4tsp turmeric optional

Instructions

  • In a pan warm the milk on medium heat
  • Add the Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, brown sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, tumeric, and hot milk to a blender.
  • Blend on high until the chocolat eis fully mixed in and melted.
  • Pour into mugs and enjoy
  • (Optional) Top the hot chocolate with meringue. Torch the meringue until toasted and enjoy.
